Black Wildebeest Hunting

Black Wildebeest Hunting Details

The Black Wildebeest, or white-tailed gnu (Connochaetes gnou), is native to southern Africa, particularly found in countries like South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana. Historically, they roamed the grasslands and open plains of the region in large herds, grazing on grass and other vegetation.

In recent years, efforts have been made to introduce Black Wildebeest populations to other parts of the world, including Texas. These introductions have allowed hunters the opportunity to pursue this iconic African species outside of its native range.

At Texas Hunt Lodge, we provide hunters with the chance to hunt Trophy Black Wildebeest on our ranches in the Texas Hill Country. While they may be rarer outside of Africa, our ranches offer a habitat conducive to their well-being, allowing hunters the opportunity to experience the thrill of pursuing this magnificent species in a unique setting.

By offering hunts for Trophy Black Wildebeest year-round with no seasonal restrictions, we ensure that hunters can embark on their hunting adventures at their convenience, providing flexibility and opportunity for an unforgettable experience.
