Texas Hunt Lodge
Texas Hunt Lodge offers fully guided exotic and whitetail hunts from Ingram, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. Established in 2008 by the Bulkley family, THL offers access to more than 30 hunting ranches and over 90 game species, with lodging and dining at our Guadalupe River property.
First, explore guided hunting packages for axis deer, whitetail, aoudad, red stag, elk, fallow deer, bison and other species. Then, our guides help plan your hunt around your desired animal, dates and preferred hunting style, including spot-and-stalk or stand hunting.
How Hunt Pricing Works
The $1,000 package fee includes lodging, food, beverages and guides. The trophy fee is separate and is charged only if an animal is wounded or killed. If you do not get an opportunity to take your desired trophy animal, you do not owe its trophy fee. See our current trophy fees and confirm your hunt details with our team before booking.
Ownership and Renovations
R. Meador Hall purchased Texas Hunt Lodge on August 31, 2023. Since then, THL has renovated the lodge, rooms and interiors and added new ranches to its hunting portfolio. Explore our lodge accommodations and our story.

A Father-Daughter Hunting Tradition
To our dearest friends at the Texas Hunt Lodge,
We recently concluded our fifth consecutive year with THL. Initially, it was a father-daughter hunt when our daughter was nine years old, but it has transformed into the most anticipated trip of the year. For us, it’s not just about the harvest; it’s the entire journey leading up to it that truly matters.
Our journey begins with Jordan, who ensures a smooth booking process and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. But let’s talk about the guides-oh, the guides! I’ve had the pleasure of hunting on numerous ranches with various guides over the years., and none can compare to the exceptional ranches and guides at THL.
We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Jake Jones, the TGR Guide of the Year, accompany us on every adventure. My daughter’s first big game animal was shot with Jake, and four years later, she proudly accepted her award for completing her Texas Ram Slam. As a father, I couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.
Meals and Hospitality at the Lodge
The time we spend together is truly priceless. The guides greet us warmly upon arrival and join us for every meal. Oh, the meals!
Lisa, our culinary mastermind, creates delectable dishes using the most extraordinary animals, worthy of any Instagram post. If a sit-down breakfast isn’t feasible, they’ve got amazing tacos to go!
We’ve even returned to THL at 11:00 pm and found a five-star meal waiting for us. The service is simply unparalleled.
Time Together in the Outdoors
Jake’s remarkable ability to secure both of our animals on the first day is a testament to his relentless pursuit. The guides are persistent in their search for your trophy. As I age, I cherish the time I spend outdoors with my daughter more and more. For us, the hunt, the chase, and the time spent together in nature are what truly matter.
When you finally get your shot, and you will, take a moment to savor the journey that brought you to this moment. It’s a bittersweet experience for me, knowing that our time at THL is drawing to a close. Walking up to your trophy is a special experience, filled with handshakes, hugs, and congratulations from everyone around us.
The guides are there to help you celebrate, so let’s raise a glass and toast to the memories we’ve made. Even though our hunt may be over, the memories we’ve created will last a lifetime. As we leave THL and embark on our journey home, we can’t help but discuss the animal we’re most excited to hunt next year. We absolutely LOVE Texas Hunt Lodge!
