Springbok Hunting Details
Texas Hunt Lodge offers thrilling Springbuck hunts, providing hunters with the opportunity to harvest these stunning antelopes for their trophy rooms. With hunts available year-round, there are no seasonal restrictions on pursuing the majestic Springbuck in Texas. Whether you’re new to hunting or an experienced huntsman, our guide will ensure you have the expertise you need to succeed.
The Springbuck, also known as Springbok, is native to the open grasslands of southwestern Africa, particularly in countries like Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa. These agile and graceful antelopes are well-known for their impressive jumping ability and distinctive prancing behavior, which they display when alarmed or excited. Proper tracking and stalking techniques are essential for a successful hunt, given the challenging terrain.
Hunters can select their preferred hunting method, whether it’s Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting, Handgun, or hunting from a Blind. When rifle hunting, using high-quality ammunition and a precise scope is key to hitting your target accurately. Camouflage clothing helps blend into the environment, and binoculars are indispensable for spotting game from a distance. Our guides are experienced and capable of accommodating hunters of all ages and experience levels, ensuring every shot counts.
The Springbuck Antelopes found on our Texas Hill Country Ranches are impressive bulls with horns ranging from 13 to 15 inches. Remarkably, the top five World Record Springbuck (SCI Introduced and TGR) have all come from this area, making the Springbuck you will hunt with us potentially a record-breaking specimen. Whether you’re aiming through the scope or tracking the animal through rugged terrain, the thrill of the hunt is unmatched.
