Zebu Hunting
Zebu Hunting Details
A Zebu is a miniature Brahma Bull raised for trophy and meat in Texas. Texas Hunt Lodge allows the opportunity to hunt and harvest a Zebu you’ll want to hang on your wall. We hunt only Trophy Zebu that we can score and have recorded into the Record Books. Year-round, we offer hunts for awesome Monster Zebu. There are no seasonal restrictions on hunting the Asiatic Zebu in Texas, which makes it a suitable trophy year-round.
We typically let our hunters choose the method of hunting Trophy Zebu that they prefer. Hunters of Zebu can choose the Spot and Stalk method, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting, Handgun, as well as hunting from a Blind. We can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters with disabilities.
We offer Zebu that weighs from 450 – 500 lbs and will typically have 15-20 inch horns, i.e., Silver or Gold Medal Bulls.
Originating from South Asia, Zebu cattle have been bred for thousands of years for their adaptability to hot climates and their resistance to diseases and parasites. Introduced to Texas for their hardiness and suitability to the region’s climate, Zebu have become popular for both trophy hunting and meat production.
