Texas Hunt Lodge offers guided Greater kudu hunts in Texas in the Texas Hill Country (Kerr County). The Greater kudu is one of the most iconic African antelope in the world, and opportunities to hunt a mature bull in the U.S. are limited—so availability is typically scarce.
 
Because kudu are managed as exotic game on private land, our kudu hunts in Texas can be available year-round, giving hunters flexibility when planning a trophy trip. Expect a challenging, rewarding hunt in thick Hill Country cover where patience, glassing, and smart stalking matter.
We tailor each hunt to the hunter and can accommodate a range of legal methods, including spot-and-stalk, blind hunting, rifle, bow, handgun, and black powder. Our Greater kudu trophy expectations commonly fall in the 49–54 inch range, with occasional opportunities to pursue exceptional bulls around 60 inches depending on current availability.

The Greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) is a large spiral-horned antelope native to the savannas and woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. Mature bulls are known for their gray-brown coats with vertical white stripes and their impressive corkscrew horns, which make kudu one of the most desired trophies in the world.
