3-Day, 2-Night: A Private Room for $885 per person, a Shared Room for $600 per person
4-Day, 3-Night: A Private Room for $1,180 per person, a Shared Room for $800 per person
5-Day, 4-Night: A Private Room for $1,475 per person, a Shared Room for $1,000 per person
Texas Hunt Lodge will put you on a Trophy Yak you’ll want to hang on your wall…in fact, we have recently taken the World Record Yak. Year-round, we offer hunts for awesome Trophy Yak. There are no seasonal restrictions on hunting the Yak in Texas, which makes it a suitable trophy year-round.
We typically let our hunters choose the method of hunting Trophy Yak that they prefer. Hunters of Trophy Yak can choose the Spot and Stalk method, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting, Handgun, as well as hunting from a Blind, using camouflage and specialized stalking gear to enhance their tracking and stalking abilities in the wilderness. We can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters who have physical disabilities or may be confined to a wheelchair.
Originating from the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau, Yak have been domesticated for thousands of years by various Asian cultures for their milk, meat, and fiber. Introduced to Texas for hunting purposes, Yak have become prized trophies for their majestic appearance and challenging hunts in the remote and rugged terrain.
Texas Hunt Lodge currently holds the World record for Largest Yak taken with the Trophy Game Records and ranks 3rd all-time with SCI. This record is a testament to the challenge and adrenaline of the expedition.
